F  A Q

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR SILICONS FROM LOW QUALITY PRODUCTS TO GO FROM THE HAIR?

We say that it can take aprox 6 weeks for these chemicals to remove from the hair. however because they're non water soluble they can in most cases take longer. 6 weeks detox is a safe amount of time to ensure no major chemical reaction can happen and the correct precautions can be taken. In these cases using blondpro in your lightening service is a must.

WHAT CAN FIX MY DANDRUFF?

In most cases people who have dandruff are 9 times out of 10 using super market low quality products, which in most cases can be causing this scalp irritation. if you have dandruff we recommend using 'goldwell duel senses scalp specialist dandruff control'

MY HAIR FEELS DULL AND NOT BRIGHT HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

This is a main cause from using your toning shampoo (purple shampoo) too often. if you are using purple shampoo every single wash you are actually making your hair darker and taking the brightness away. We only recommend using purple shampoo once a fortnight or whenever you are feeling warmer. We also highly recommend getting 'deep clean shampoo by Eleven Australia' and using that fortnighty to remove excess toning build up and keep your hair super Bright & Blonde.

MY HAIR IS REALLY OILY AND DRY ON MY ENDS WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS?

Again this is a question frequently asked by people using low quality products, if you change to good quality, We can guarantee you wont be as oily on your scalp as it is in fact the silicons building up on your scalp which does not allow it to be cleansed properly!

if this is your issue using 'Deep Clean' by Eleven Australia and 'Hydrate my hair' as your conditioner will be your life saver. please expect to see a difference between 6 weeks as you'll have such a high amount of silicon build up.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON OLAPLEX?

Nothing against Olaplex , We just really loved Blondpro alot more than we did Olaplex, being an Australian owned company we had such amazing support and product training. We found that our blonde colour wasn't affected and our clients absolutely loved it. All the ingrediants are Australian and  it is a lot more affordable for our clients to add on to their colour service which is an added bonus!

take home 'C' Treatments $30

in service Bondpro A,B and C is an added $50 on your colour service.

MY HAIR IS FRAGILE BUT IT IS SO YELLOW AND I DONT WANT TO COLOUR IT, WHAT CAN I DO?

A Toner will be the best thing for your hair, some toners which have peroxide will damage and dry your hair out further, however Goldwell's Toners 'Colorance' is super hydrating it is just as great as a treatment is for your hair.

The Goldwell range "Colorance” is the first semi/demi-permanent color with IntraLipid Technology that repairs the hair. However some brands can be damaging yes, however ours is not!

Please keep in mind toners will fade out slowly over a 6 week period and we recommend getting them regularly.

If your hair is super porous this may fade out quicker, porosity pretty much means your hairs cortex is full of tiny little holes which makes it super hard for the colour to stay intact. picture a piece of wood with heaps of little holes throughout it, what happens when you poor paint over it? heaps of it falls out onto the floor. so once you start repairing your hair those little holes fill up and your colour will start to last a lot longer.

IM USING ORGANIC PRODUCTS FROM THE SUPERMARKET IS THAT OK TO BE USING?

I wish it were that easy, unfortunatly what your using is not organic, if it were the price wouldnt be $5 organic is actually a lot more expensive than other shampoos. if your looking for something more organic because your thinking it is safer it is indeed not the case. looking at all the ingrediants it is ridden with lots of harmful silicon fillers which will react causing serious breakage, not to mention it will not make your hair feel healthier or less oily. please dont be fooled. Eleven Australia products are $24.95 and are garenteed to last atleast 6-8 weeks. you need less product each wash. if you wash your hair 3 times a week it works out 80CENTS perwash.

cruelty free , vegan , Australian made and owned.

MY DRY SHAMPOO IS FROM SUPER MARKET WHY IS THAT BAD/ WHAT CAN I USE INSTEAD?

This is so commonly asked, i think a lot of you think it is just SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER that is bad and forbidden to use, however it is the entire range sold at these places such as-

super markets , aldi,  priceline, chemist warehouse etc etc....

From shampoo and conditioners to leave in products to dry shampoo to even men's styling products, all of it is bad and is full of fillers such as silicon which is non water soluble unlike salon products. Don't be fooled salon products have silicon in it but it is a different silicon they're water soluble , vegetable silicon etc.

Getting back to the question, the most commonly used dry shampoo is that colorful bottled one which is defiantly a stay away product. This is very common in chemical reactions and is so important to be asked because a lot of you think its just shampoo etc which is bad but it is not!!!

Most "good" brands have a dry shampoo, our recommendation is 'Eleven Australia Give me clean hair' which is $24.95 , Nioxin also have a dry shampoo and so does Goldwell so there is so many dry shampoos in the market that are good but please remember  it is the same protocol of no super market still applies to ANY product you can by down those HAIRCARE isles.

WHAT CAN I USE ON MY KIDS HAIR?

Your kiddies hair is just as important to look after.

if youve been using low quality products your probably finding their hair to be super knotty and oily!

Eleven is just as good to use on their hair, as its not super harsh. Honestly this will save your life, theyll love it because it smells amazing.  Teamed with Miracle hair treatment along with any of the elven shampoos it is your go to haircare !

WHEN I BRUSH MY HAIR HEAPS OF HAIR COMES OUT?

DO NOT STRESS GUYS - you loose on average 100 strands of hair per day.

Now if you're not brushing it every day youll be loosing 300 etc. The only advice i can give you is making sure you are using - Tangle Teezers from the brand 'Invisi Bobble' there are so many fake tangle teezers which will actually rip your hair out, the real ones brissels are soft so that it does not rip your hair out in the process of brushing, it infact glides over your hair. These can be found in salon $29.95 it is also important to be using invisi bobble hair ties, please make sure theyre branded 'invisi bobble' as again there is a lot of fakes please read my blog about hair ties.  IF your loosing a crazy amount of hair and you're noticing a huge difference, please contact your hair dresser asap as there could be many reasons to why.

hormones, thyroid, Iron levels are all common for hair loss.

IS IT BAD TO GO TO BED WITH YOUR HAIR TIED UP OR WET?

Yes!!! It is defiantly not recomended to go to bed with your hair tied up or wet.

why? because picture you have a tight elastic band around your wrist, over time it creates a red band and gets sore. now picture that's your hair, its tight it has constant pressure on it, and it'll become fragile and break in your more finer areas. We do not recommend going to bed with your hair tied up, if its the case of its annoying in your face wear a head band like I tend to do when I've fake tanned to ensure the tan doesn't go in my hair totally irrelevant.

Now lets talk about why going to bed with wet hair is bad, for starters didn't your parents always say you'll catch a cold???

no but seriously, your hair is most FRAGILE when wet, so drying it off is better for the integrity and strength. We also find your hair will become a lot more oily quicker if you haven't dried it off.

WHAT IS BLONDPRO?

I'm going to try not get super technical with you, but.....

Blondpro Reconnects broken disulphide bondes in the hair that have been broken during the chemical process.  Blondpro is a salon professional 3 step program that allows the hairstylist to achieve even greater results with blondes and colour whilst maintaining the integrity and condition of the hair.

Blondpro acts as a buffer to stop further damage to the internal structure of the hair. Blondpro is added into your hairstylists existing bleach / colour to maintain strength and to actively start the external re-bonding of the hair shaft. However Blondpro can be used as a stand alone treatment for severely compromised hair.

When hair is bleached/coloured the internal bonds can break during the lightening process , however with Blondpro your hair is structurally up to 7 times stronger than before. Pretty much Blondpro gives us (the hair dresser) security to colour with confidence, knowing the quality of the hair will be better than before starting the colour process.

to add blondpro onto your service it is $50.00 which includes take home treatment.
